Water Shoes Make Moms Happy

Our family owns a boat and likes to camp.
Since we spend a lot of time in summers camping and boating,
water shoes have greatly prevented foot injuries.
Often times the water in which we place our feet isn’t crystal clear, as a result you can’t see the bottom.
We wear water shoes to put the boat into the water at various ramps, so it helps provide a better grip on the concrete or rocks.
Another activity we enjoy is creek walking if there is a creek in the campground; my kids are there, but with the water shoes on.
With them on it makes it so much easier to maneuver across rocks, sticks and through the water.
I can remember a specific time we took our boat to a little island in Lake Erie.
My nephew went to put his foot out of the boat onto the island but with regular flip flops on, they floated off his foot and he cut himself on the rock.
After that we decided no kids on boat without water shoes.
It’s bad enough to get a cut on your foot, but to have it in unclean water it is a good possibility for serious infection.
I am diabetic the water shoes has helped to protect my feet from the possibility of an infection.
