Over the last few years the growing fashions in home improvement has been to beautify your backyard, pool, grass and deck areas with a Patio umbrella.
Patio umbrellas can usually block out the sun’s glare and its damaging and harmful
UV rays, as well as make a space inviting enough for people to gather in diverse weather conditions.
Most important thing that you would need to consider would be just how much shade you require.
Size and Diameter:
A lot of patio umbrellas are offered in standard sizes, with the most accepted being the 6 foot, the 7.5 foot, the 9 foot and the 11 foot diameters.
Fabrics:
While considering fabric, make sure it is made up of water and UV resistant material. Choose a lighter shade which usually reflects sunlight, I prefer white or light blue, even a yellow would do.
Polymer knitted fabric which actually allows hot air to escape is the most important feature to look for.
You might also consider getting one which has a tilt feature. This would allow you a shady environment to be maintained throughout the day as the sun changes its position.
