Make Sure to Bring A Sun Umbrella

A few months ago, my husband and I decided to take our baby girl to the beach. Being cautious, we made sure to use proper sun protection (in the form of special infant sun lotion).
While the sun lotion kept
sunburn away, we found very soon that Jesse (our daughter) actually disliked the direct sunlight, anyways.
She started crying, and we were very upset. Apparently, babies have trouble taking direct sunlight for the first 26 months, and after awhile they get irritable.
It was super hot, and next time we'll be SURE to take along a
Sun Protection Umbrella, as that probably would have saved us a lot of trouble!
Remember, parents, take along a sun umbrella when you go to the beach with your little one!
Oh, and another good tip. Apparently, aside from basic suntan lotion and
infant swimwear, you can get UV protective
swimming suits, now.
They keep out harmful UV rays! I'll definitely be picking some up for Jesse!
