Clown Party

One time I was hired to paint faces and perform as a clown for a child's birthday party.
The party took place outside in the sun.
When I arrived the children were very excited about having a clown at their party.
But I couldn't smile because I was too distracted by how many of them were inadequately protected from the sun.
None of them were wearing sunglasses or UV Clothing. None of them smelled like sun tan lotion, and most of them were sporting pretty advanced tans.
For kids so young, their parents did not seem to be taking very good care of them.
While I painted their faces, I gave each and every one of them a lecture on sun protection.
Afterward they were all very angry with their parents for taking such poor care of them, and who could blame them?
I felt pretty good though, for being just a clown, I had spread future health and happiness amongst all those children.
