1st Time I suffered Heat Exhaustion

I've never been one of those people who love the heat. In fact I 'm just the opposite, with good reason.
My first experience with
heat exhaustion came when I was working outdoors in the summertime heat of Las Vegas.
A few hours after lunch I began to get a headache, followed shortly thereafter by nausea, severe dizziness, and cold chills.
It was only after going inside, cooling down a good while and drinking what seemed like 5 gallons of Gator-aid that I began to recover.
The lesson here is if you are out in the heat drink plenty of fluids, and take cooling off breaks if susceptible to heat exhaustion.
